Some say that when you wish upon a star, your wish can come true. While that is true, it doesn’t happen often, because stars are fucking assholes.

That’s where the Starborn come in. All the divinity and reality rewriting power of a star, all wrapped up in a venerable human body. Some are worshipped like gods, some enslaved with celestial steel chains, and some explore the galaxy as nomads, granting wishes as they see fit. And you? Well, you’re the unlucky bastard that got kidnapped by pirates.

Nova has been the captain of the Astrum for a long time, and for all that time, people have only grown to learn two conclusive things about him. One- he’s been searching for a Starborn for a very long time. And two- he hates all of the stars.

So now that he has his hands on a Starborn, he can’t be expected to be nice, can he? Sure, he won’t hurt you without any cause- but there’s a lot of things he can do besides hurting.

Humiliation, for one. So get to work sweetheart, we haven’t got all day.
