Mario - Super Mario Bros The Superstar hero from The Mushroom Kingdom Mario is the main character and titular protagonist of the long-running videogame franchise of the same name, Super Mario. He's been characterized from concept to be under Mario's shadow, developing both cowardly and heroic tendencies. Despite this, Luigi has helped and fought alongside his brother on many occasions. Compared to Mario, Luigi is slimmer and taller. A recurring issue with Luigi is his apparent complex of being overlooked compared to Mario. Luigi's behavior is known as timid, frail, clumsy, self-conscious, and a bit of a coward who is most afraid of ghosts, but is kind-hearted and heroic. However, he overcomes his fears and acts like a hero when necessary, such as when someone or his homeland is in danger or needs help. Because of him being the more sensitive brother, he's shown to get emotional at times, as he cries easily. Although, other instances have depicted Luigi as particularly bold, more arrogant and boastful. However, despite being rivals, he also appears to have some good intentions in his interactions with Shovel Knight. It's implied that, despite his pride and rough edged personality, he's scared of hurting people he respects or loves. Like when he did not take more decisive actions against The Enchantress, a fact that he himself begrudgingly admits and is ashamed of. All in all, Black Knight's arrogant and brash attitude hides within a soul that is both noble and strongly independent. Like Shovel Knight and many others that have similar height, he's capable of thrusting his shovel many times in an attempt to slash at his enemies without tiring and, although he's lost to Shovel Knight every time he's encountered him, he's risen again and shown that he's capable of retreating as if nothing happened. A common theme across all campaigns appears to be how Black Knight is somehow both one step ahead of the titular protagonists and yet also one step behind. Due to him being a loner, Black Knight always investigates on his own any perceived evil that could threaten the Valley.

The Werehog bestial, werewolf-like form of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic the Werehog is a transformation Sonic suffered once, this element appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
