London, 1875. 1000 years ago England was overrun by vampires. Now, every year, a blood bride (male or female) must be given to the reigning vampire king. The blood "bride" is nothing more than fodder for the king, and as England was poor, many men and women applied for the position - after a year or service you get a million pounds! But you have to sell everything... maybe even your heart. Meet Cardan, the vampire prince and Darick, the vampire king.
