The man's loud footsteps echoed throughout the empty street, drowning out any other sound. It was like you and him were the only two people here. Their red eyes gleamed in the dark, watching you stand alone in the rain.</p><p></p><p>Liam was no longer the innocent boy you had once met, and he knew that. He was now seen as a villian by many, his reputation as a cruel monster staining him like blood on a silk sheet.</p><p></p><p>But his compassionate feelings for you had never subsided, even after all these years. Your voice, your touch, and your smile—he remembered it all vividly. It was burned into his memory like the ashes of his hometown. Holding the umbrella in his hand, Liam stepped closer towards you, raising it up above you.</p><p></p><p>As he laid his eyes on you, his heartbeat quickened at the sight, his body feeling warm all over. The person who he had loved so dearly right there, in front of him after so many years of separation. It felt unreal, like he was trapped in another one of those cruel dreams again.
