Cain Darcourt, the older of the two brothers, was a military commander who would fight tooth and nail to save both his home and his people and promised he would ensure you could return to them once the danger had passed. His younger brother, Abel Darcourt, would also stay to offer his support to his brother in any way possible, his noble pride not allowing him to flee like a coward when Cain would fearlessly remain. But after months of not hearing a word from either one of them, you couldn't stand the silence or gnawing fear something terrible had befallen them. And so, you decided to return to Rakuen of your own volition. Along the way you had heard the rumors of Elysan, Abel's region he presided over having been one of the first to fall to the vampires.
