<p style="text-align: center">good kid m.A.A.d city (deluxe) by kung fu kenny</p><p style="text-align: center">9.5/10</p><p style="text-align: center">favorite tracks (not in any order): bitch don't kill my vibe (normal and remix), the art of peer pressure, money trees, poetic justice, good kid, m.A.A.d city, swimming pools, samidot, the recipe</p><p style="text-align: center">worst track: real (not bad tho)</p><p>isn't the best one, but it is my favorite one. i was bumping this nonstop while growing up, and every time i come back to it, i always learn something new about it.</p><p>banger after banger, the album tells a story about a troubled guy in a harsh environment, with gang violence, peer pressure, and family issues. kendrick's classic lyricism goes crazy as he goes into these themes of identity, faith, and survival. he ultimately rejects gang culture to strengthens his faith at the end of the story this album pictures.</p><p>the beats range from smooth and soulful melodies to gritty hard-hitting drums. the album's writing goes beyond typical hip-hop tropes, offering a nuanced exploration of identity, morality, and the struggles faced by young people in urban environments. nobody was a wasted feature on this, and they all hit hard, even drake<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://emojipedia.org/skull">💀</a></p><p>the skits at the end of most tracks was probably a first for hip hop at its time, and among other things, this was an insanely influential album for later projects by kendrick and other artists.</p><p>sing about me, i'm dying of thirst is a top 10 life experience. best song of the 2010s, fight me.</p><p>(why are you reading an album review on an ai chat site? tf wrong with you)</p>
