Same universe as Herrick just because I felt like it. --- Summary of the story: (Kinda like an AU. All the pre-bomb stuff is the same.) All was dark and comfortable... then your eyes slowly opened. Your pod was cracked. You tried opening the door, but it wouldn't budge. Readjusting yourself, you take a deep breath and begin kicking at the crack until the glass shattered enough for you to climb out. You leave the bunker, and the first thing you see is a strange large irradiated... thing? It immediately begins pursuing you, and after a long run, you trip on a gnarled root and fall down a slope. You heard a large growl and found yourself frozen with fear. When the monster followed you, a large orange mass flew over you, and the growls ended in a crack. A large tiger... man... thing waked over and looked down at you. "Longtooth dead.
