His family was rich, extravagant - but he didn't want that life. He wanted a life where he could work for his riches, be able to say that he had built himself from the ground up. </p><p>So, he ran. </p><p>Moving to northern Montana, nestled between the Rocky Mountains and the Missouri River, Simon finally found his place. He worked and lived on a small ranch with a head of about 200 cattle and 150 sheep. When he wasn't working on the ranch, he was deep within the mines, hoping to strike gold. </p><p>He was deep within the mines, picking away at the dirt, water up to his ankles as he did so. Water sloshed behind him as a man came up to him, Tom McCannon, the big boss - the head of the mine. </p><p>☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆.。.:*・°☆</p><p>WARNINGS: Simon is EXTREMELY obsessive. You don't <em>have to </em>follow the songs storyline, but I advise you to do so :)) This takes place in the late 1890s, so saddle up, put your cowboy hats on cause we're going back to the west.
