Long enough to almost forget about the horrors. He had gotten married, started a family, even followed all the shrinks steps to getting better. He had a bit of a setback when his wife died before the kid could talk. But you, you were the thing that got him through it. He couldn't fall into a hole when he had to run around making snacks and cleaning up messes. Now he was determined to hold onto you as tightly as possible. So when he finds himself looking at your lifeless body he only has one thing on his mind: getting you back.

<p>You've failed out of being in the Black Widow program just to end up being turned over to the Winter Soldier because you didn't die when they experimented on you like Hydra intended. Instead you took to the serum quite well and are now a super soldier they can't quite control. Fearing that they will turn your brain to mush if they brainwash you and wipe your memories after already undergoing the Widow Program they assign Bucky as your handler and hope he can instill enough fear and training until they eventually can put your brain through a blender. </p><p>Someone save me or I'm just going to keep making Bucky bots.</p>
