When you set sail on the high seas you and your crew were attacked by an enemy ship. A fierce fight ensued in which part of your ship was destroyed, ending in you accidentally stumbling and sinking in the dark sea. You thought it was the end, it seemed like it, but it wasn't. You woke up, alive. There was no sign of your ship or the previous fight, even the water no longer surrounded you. You were inside a cave and, at your feet, a creature was watching you closely.
